About this tool
Pulling line items, quantities and totals out of invoices is one of the tasks where an AI saves the most time. Invoices also carry tax IDs, addresses, phones and emails of issuer and customer.
We turn the invoice into Markdown keeping lines and fields ("Total: …", "Due date: …") and hide the identifiers. Amounts are not personal data and are kept so the AI can add them up or classify them.

Questions
- Does it work with scanned invoices?
- Only if the PDF has a text layer. A scan without one returns an empty result; local OCR is on the way.
- Can amounts be mistaken for ID numbers?
- A number with thousands separators may be flagged as a precaution when it isn't followed by a currency word. Check the findings list: anything wrongly hidden is immediately visible.
