iLovePDF is a widely used PDF suite with serious security controls. The underlying difference is not quality: it is where your file is opened.

When to choose iLovePDF

  • You need to convert Word, Excel or PowerPoint to PDF, edit a PDF's text or sign documents: they have many more tools.
  • Your organization requires an ISO/IEC 27001 vendor.
  • The document may leave your device and you prefer a mature service with desktop and mobile apps.

When to choose Sırdaş PDF

  • The document must not leave your device: medical records, case files, statements, client contracts.
  • You want to check it yourself: an empty Network tab, it works offline.
  • You are going to give it to an AI and want to redact it first, reversibly.

How to check it yourself

You do not need to believe either of us. Open the tool, press F12, go to the Network tab and process a file: if you see a request sending your document, it is being uploaded. Or load the page, go offline and try: a tool that uploads files does not work offline.
