Sırdaş PDF and Smallpdf: processing in your browser or on their servers
Smallpdf processes on European servers and deletes files after an hour. We never receive them. These are the verifiable differences.

When to choose Smallpdf
- You need to convert Office to PDF, edit or sign documents: they have a much wider catalogue.
- Your organization requires an ISO 27001 vendor with GDPR processing on European servers.
When to choose Sırdaş PDF
- The document must not leave your device, not even for an hour.
- You work offline or on an isolated network.
- You prepare documents for AI: redacted Markdown, tables to Excel, datasets.
How to check it yourself
You do not need to believe either of us. Open the tool, press F12, go to the Network tab and process a file: if you see a request sending your document, it is being uploaded. Or load the page, go offline and try: a tool that uploads files does not work offline.
