Sırdaş PDF and PDF24: the website that uploads and the one that does not
PDF24 is free and honest about what it does: its website uploads files to European servers, and its desktop program works locally. We do the latter on the web.

When to choose PDF24
- You use Windows and do not mind installing a program: PDF24 Creator is free, works locally and has many more tools.
- You need features we do not have, such as converting Office to PDF or editing.
When to choose Sırdaş PDF
- You want the website itself not to upload anything, without installing a program: on a phone, a borrowed computer or one where you cannot install.
- You prepare documents for AI or use agents: reversible redaction, a local CLI and MCP server.
How to check it yourself
You do not need to believe either of us. Open the tool, press F12, go to the Network tab and process a file: if you see a request sending your document, it is being uploaded. Or load the page, go offline and try: a tool that uploads files does not work offline.
