Questions
- What if my PDF is already under 10 MB?
- Only the lossless optimization runs. We never return a file larger than the original or degrade a PDF that already fits.
- Will I lose quality compressing to 10 MB?
- It depends on the starting point. If pages have to be rendered as images, text stops being selectable and sharpness drops in a controlled way; the tool picks the highest quality that fits and tells you before you download.
- Why didn't it reach exactly 10 MB?
- Very long or image-heavy documents can have a readable minimum above the target. In that case you get the smallest file that is still readable, clearly flagged.
