About this tool
When the other side returns a contract with "minor changes", finding them by eye is slow and risky: a term that went from 12 to 24 months, or an added penalty clause, disappears among thirty identical pages.
Drop both versions and we mark, line by line, what is gone and what is new. We compare the lines as they appear on the page, not merged paragraphs, so the change is flagged where it actually happened.
Both files open in your browser's memory. Sending a contract under negotiation to an online comparison service is exactly what you should not do.

Questions
- Does it compare formatting or only text?
- Only text. Font, margin or colour changes are not flagged; what matters in a contract is what it says.
- Does it work with scans?
- It needs selectable text. Run each version through the local OCR first and compare the result.
- Does it detect a paragraph that merely moved?
- It shows as removed in one place and added in another. The comparison follows document order.
