About this tool

For sales proposals, exams or course material: whoever has the password can read it, but their reader won't let them copy the text or print it.

It is a courtesy barrier, not a fortress: well-behaved readers honour it and most people don't know how to bypass it. We say so plainly because other sites sell it as total protection.

Questions

Does it prevent screenshots?
No. No PDF can. If the content is very sensitive, anonymize it before sharing.
Who can change the permissions?
Whoever has the owner password. We generate a random one and don't show it, so opening the file isn't enough to lift them.
