About this tool
The most popular "scanner" apps send your photos to their servers for processing. For an ID, a receipt or a contract, that is an unnecessary risk.

Questions
Does it crop or straighten photos automatically?
Not yet. Frame carefully when shooting; automatic crop and deskew are on the roadmap.
Will the resulting PDF have selectable text?
No: they are images. Selectable text needs OCR, which is coming as a local feature.
